  • Discernment entails being open to God and listening to Him in a prayerful way. It also entails honest self assessments. Finally, discernment entails making a commitment to act.
  • Discernment is a two-way process through which the individual considers the community and the community considers the indiviual.

A vocation is a call. It is allowing God to make use of us. If you go by the scriptures, you will see that each of us has a unique gift and we can each do the work of God in a unique way. Whatever gift I have, I believe God is calling me to use that gift to do his work.
