Happy Birthday!

October 20:

Pray for Vocations

October Prayer Intention of the Superior General

“Be praised, my Lord, through our sister Mother Earth, who feeds us and rules us, and produces various fruits with colored flowers and herbs” (St. Francis).

Through the intercession of St. Francis of Assisi, let us pray that we be good stewards of all creation and give thanks to God for the wonderful handiwork He has entrusted to our care. Let us also implore God’s help for the protection of creation and to pardon us for the sins committed against the world in which we live.

When will I put my hand to the plow? Jesus, with the help of your grace, it will begin today, as you seem to be speaking to my heart. (Exercises)
